PERI has joined forces with AMECO to deliver integrated scaffold solutions to optimise scaffold builds in commercial and industrial operations through pre-construction planning.

AMECO is a site services company for construction projects and PERI is a leading global provider of formwork and scaffolding systems.

Together, the company’s have created an initiative called AMECO's Integrated Scaffold Solutions, that uses 3D modelling to eliminate unnecessary costs and reduce labour requirements, thereby improving efficiency and productivity.

Rising costs and lack of labour are two major challenges in the construction sector, and by leveraging advanced tech and innovative materials, PERI is seeking to improve the planning stages of construction projects worldwide.

PERI, in collaboration with AMECO, is using advanced 3D modelling to improve scaffold construction.

This technology optimises scaffold design and placement before construction begins, addressing industry challenges such as labour shortages and cost overruns.

By visualising the scaffold structure digitally, potential clashes and rework areas are identified, streamlining material requirements and reducing labour needs.

This approach enhances craft worker efficiency and minimises time on tools, offering a competitive advantage in a tight labour market.

Accurate material forecasting further limits waste and unplanned freight costs, supporting sustainability efforts and improving project efficiency.

This collaboration is particularly impactful in the power industry, where these integrated solutions have led to safer and more efficient construction sites.

The PERI UP scaffolding system is central to PERI's integrated solutions, designed to mitigate safety risks associated with traditional scaffolding.

It addresses issues such as overhead tool use and handling heavy pieces, ensuring a safer working environment.

The system's reusability allows materials to be cycled through various projects, reducing environmental impact and driving productivity.

PERI UP also requires fewer workers for assembly, with teams of two or three instead of the traditional four to six, crucial in addressing labour shortages.

This reduction in labour requirements leads to significant cost savings and increased efficiency.

The collaboration between PERI and AMECO also focuses on accurate material forecasting, limiting waste and unplanned costs.
